It's my hypothesis that cats don't understand reading, and when you are reading a magazine or the phone book, say, they think you are just staring off into space and should therefore be paying attention to them. I often employ a decoy magazine with Edie.
But isn't a little disciplinary infraction worth such a nicely framed photo? Janet, send a photo of Edie sometime or do a guest post (all members have the capacity to post).
